I’m running world of Warcraft (classic) using faugus launcher and often have two instances up, one on each monitor. However if I alt tab, my selected window isn’t brought to the front. I have to switch to “peek at desktop” and then select my window.

Other than this issue, this game runs far better than in windows.

Has anyone experienced this or know how to fix it?

Edit: I’m on arch using KDE with wayland. Everything up to date.

So im on mx linux 25 kde and im using bottles to play this game plants vs zombie from fit girl repack and everything works like the installation process and everything but as soon as the installation is done its just all of a sudden the game's icon pops up and with a big red exlimination mark shows up on the corner of the icon and then i think cmd pop up for a split second and then its gone like its just quit like ive tried like putting the working directory and all that still doesnt work. so pls help

Recently a new update for the Sega Saturn Emulator Ymir came out with support for multiple pointing devices to act as separate emulated Virtua Gun and/or Shuttle Mouse

But when I plugged in a second mouse to play some Co-op Virtua Cop 2, both mice inputs are being merged and I cannot assign Mouse 2 to Player 2 which I found out is the default behaviour on Wayland

My current setup is Debian Forky running GNOME 49.5

Is there any way to change this or should I move to an X11 capable Desktop Environment?

I'm on CachyOS and I want to use Optiscaler to try out frame gen on Dragon's Dogma 2. I saw that Goverlay now has Optiscaler included, but the youtube tutorial I saw has some difference on the UI. The video doesn't have the OS version option, but mine has. Do I just leave it at default?

I also don't see the framegen option on mine, is it moved to the Optiscaler menu in the game after pressing insert?

Finally, I'm using Gamescope to upscale my game to 1440p, will it interfere with the Optiscaler? My current launch option for Dragon's Dogma 2 on steam is:

I want to test a few games that don’t run well on my laptop under Windows, such as Forza Horizon.

Long short story, I lost my Armored Core VI data after reinstalling in Linux Mint. I downloaded it in Linux Mint from Windows without any issues but I had to reinstall it and lost all my data (which never happened on Windows). I don't know what happened or why, but in case anything similar could happen again I want to keep external backups of some games that I don't want to lose, mainly Isaac and Balatro along with AC VI, if I go to my secondary hard drive (where I have the games installed) > SteamLibrary > Steamapps > Comptdata > 814380 (for instance, this is Sekiro) Do I copy the whole 814380 folder? then when I reinstall it in a new system, I download the game, when the 814380 folder is created, I simply replace it? thanks in advance

Crimson desert has an issue where all the shadows flicker on and off when moving the camera after the latest update.

Im running bazzite (KDE, RTX 3080ti if that matters) and have noticed that im not able to enable RT in games. Specifically pragmata and some other games. Ive searched for a solution but havent found anything conclusive so if anyone has any tips please leave them here.

I installed genshin using lutris. Launching through the hoyoplay launcher doesn't work (expected) I also tried launching the genshin exe with lutris but that didn't work eighter (didn't launch). Added it to steam and I could launch it through there. It seems to work (laggy but it was laggy on windows too) then after working for a bit it freezes and I can still move the cursor with massive delay but it doesn't seem to take any key input. So I end up having to shut down my laptop with the power button. What do I need to do?

I am using NixOS (if that even matters). I recently bought an rtx 5090 as an upgrade from an rx 6700xt. I have tried playing my fav game (Monster Hunter World) but have been facing issues with it. After the initial boot screen (Capcom logo, some other corporate logos), my screen fades to black and no further image shows.

This happens similarly in Elden Ring.

I have tried other gamess (Moinster Hunter Rise, Dark souls 3, Lies of Pi, Doom 2016, Metro Exodus) and faced issues with it telling me I dont have enough storage in the machine to play it (I have like 200gb left on that drive). I am not sure what the problem is. I have the game installed in a secondary drive from my root partition that has btrfs for its filesystem. I am not sure why this is happening. My laptop (rtx 5070) works just fine.

Im having some weird issues with my Linux installations, I've tried nobara, pop os and cachyos. And all distros some times stall and is generally laggy.

I'm using a prebuilt intel Lenovo with a 4070. Could the lagginess be hardware fault or a compatibility issue? I know there used to be some nvidia issues previously, but I thought they were practically nonexistent now, or am I wrong? I've also ran a ssd check and a memory check with no issues. Any insights are appreciated.
