Linux gaming PC
I hope this is the right place to ask this. But first background. (Question starts at TLDR)
I have been gaming on PC for around a decade always using a windows machine. I have built a couple of pc's from the ground up, upgraded a few, and messed with everything from Debian, CentOS, Ubuntu, and of course windows. I have a general background with system admin stuff so I would say slightly above average computer savvy.
Lately the amount of work and I have been having to put into keeping my windows machine up has been irritating me. Ok it's not all windows, the hardware issues with the later Intel cpu's and the questionable performance and price of nvidia stuff has really been rubbing me the wrong way.
-TLDR-
Sorry for the long explanation on to the reason for the post. I am looking to get a Linux pc for gaming. I was wondering if there is a company that makes good pre-built Linux gaming pc's. I could put one together but I would prefer to save time if I can. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY Yellow Haze Visual Glitch
Hello everyone!
I ran into a peculiar issue when trying to run Arkham Asylum GOTY. The game installs and as far as I can tell runs without any errors. The Problem is that a constant yellow haze-like filter is applied, as you can see here:
These are my graphical settings:
I have added a command to the launch settings protontricks d3dx9 d3dcompiler_43 but it seems it hasn't solved my issue. I have ran the game in multiple proton versions including:
- GE-Proton 10-17
- GE-Proton 10-16
- GE-Proton 10-15
- Proton Experimental
- Proton 10.0-2 (beta)
- Proton 8.0-5
- Proton Hotfix
Here are my system specs:
As you can see I am running an Nvidia GPU and my current graphics drivers version is 580.82.07. If anyone can help I'd be grateful.

Can i enable FSR4 in games that don't support it?
Or does the game specifically need to support it to work?
I have a 9070, so it supports FSR4 natively, but, can i force it or mod it into games that don't?
Specifically, RoboCop. Jesus Christ the scaling options in this game are implemented badly, the shimmering and artrefacting on all of them is just extroadinarily bad. I've never seen such bad implementation.
If FSR4 can make it a bit better, i'd like to try cause right now it looks awful.

Could someone please test if my game (demo) runs well on Linux devices? I don't have a quick easy way of doing so myself, thanks!

Moding/Vortex
So, I have need trying to get Vortex working for the past 4 hours or so. I tried both Heroic and Steam.
I can also successfully run Vortex only through the initial installer with wine-ge latest. That is because after closing Vortex I can’t find for the life of me where the damn exe is located when installing with Steam. But with heroic it’s located somewhere in the “Games” file on the home directory (when it decides to appear).
When vortex runs it “works” as intended up to the point I try to mod a game. (The game of my choice at the moment is Subnautica.) I search the game, vortex does its downloading thingys (does not work on first try so I have to re do it but then says that it “works”).
After that the dreaded message comes, vortex can not locate the game so I have to do it by hand. It opens me the windows file directory on Linux. I have checked every file but I can’t find any games from steam or anything in general. Only the most basic of stuff is in there.
I also tried to use winetricks and install it on the Subnautica’s “Windows directory” (or at least that’s what I thought I was doing) but again nothing. It can see a Subnautica file tho but only has a player log inside.
Do you guys have any idea what can I do? Or at least another way I can mod the game? I have looks at Mod Organizer 2 but it does not support Subnautica
I’m using CachyOS

Has anyone set up a Windows VM to play games with incompatible anti-cheat on Bazzite?
Help running hollow knight using wine on my linux mint without stutter.
Just asking to see if anyone has used a specific setup to run the game that i can follow.
Im running the game on plain wine 10.0 64 bit architechture. Dependencies installed using winetricks -
d3dcompiler_43, d3dx9, d3dcompiler_47, dxvk, andale, arial, comicsans, courier, georgia, impact, times, trebuchet, verdana, webdings, corefonts, w_workaround_wine_bug-50894, vcrun2015 (output from winetricks list-installed).
This is the launch command that i use - "env WINEPREFIX="/home/$(whoami)/.wine_new" DXVK_CONFIG_FILE="/home/$(whoami)/.config/dxvk.conf" gamemoderun wine "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Hollow Knight\\hollow_knight.exe""
Here the conf file just says dxvk.enableAsync=true and downloaded and installed dxvk async from dxvk-async but whenever i enable dxvk hud the async enabled doesnt show so idk if its running or not and gamemode without any customization.
The game stutters to the point where its unplayable....i mean i do get 60 fps for 5 seconds then stutters and goes on like that in short its nothing i can ignore plus holow knight used to run smoothly without any issue on this same device when i was in windows so i dont think its a hardware issue. I have 8GB ram and a nvidia mx150 with 4gb vram. Please help.

Can I use files from other discs to play on Bazzite or do I have to download them again?
TGS 2025: Day 1 Report and First Impressions (including the Xbox Portable)
anyone with an ARC B570 know how I can get the application?
for most GPUs I've had (at least on windows) it had an app that went with it like nvidia control panel where you could configure a bunch of desktop settings
I'm new to intel and linux and was wondering if not only there was an intel version of that but also if there was a linux version of it, as I'm experiencing a bunch of screen tear and want to fix it
thank you in advance

Controller not inputting
I am fairly new to Linux but for some reason I can't get the Xbox controller (pretty sure it's a series controller) I have to make inputs. It can connect to my laptop and I even followed this guide on installing xpadneo https://www.addictivetips.com/ubuntu-linux-tips/xbox-one-controllers-over-bluetooth-linux/
Is there something I missed? Do I need to install drivers?

Help, how to add installed steam games from other drive
Hi, I just finished installing cachy os, before this, I use windows 10 with 2 ssd, the first ssd is used for OS and other programs, and the second ssd is used for games and other data, now I installed cachy os on the first ssd ( where I store windows ) and I want to mount the other ssd where I store all of my steam games, but when I try to add the steamapps ( on the second ssd ) directory on the steam game storage settings, it says "steam library folder is not empty", how can I add my steam games from other drive into my steam? is it not possible to use steam games that installed on windows in linux?
Thanks in advance for any advice or solutions! :D
