So I'm using Lutris and EA App. Both the EA App and game works without any issues, except I can't play online.

Happening for a few days. It's the Remastered game, not the OG. Are the servers shutdown on this too? Is it just on my end? Why can't I connect? EA App does have internet connection, as I'm online and can download games, but I just can't go online in Burnout for some reason. Help?

I've tried on Debian, Ubuntu(Pop!), fedora(bazzite) and arch(garuda) based dirtros, all of which are doing the same thing. I've got the proprietary Nvidia drivers (550.76), CUDA version 12.4 for a 4070 super from gigabyte. I have a Ryzen 7 7800x3d The steam Linux client opens but when I press play on the game it says launching, running, then goes back to the play button and doesn't run the game. When using Port proton, that version of steam runs and the games run but I don't have access to dlss or Ray tracing in the games The filesystem on the drive is EXT4 Tried multiple versions of proton in steam (hotfix, experimental, 9 and 8) I haven't noticed any performance loss when using Port proton, only that Nvidia features don't work properly The pc is brand new, I built it a few days ago, and am fairly new to Linux as a whole, I've used windows until recently but moved away after the copilot and recall stuff with windows 11

I would prefer to stay with a fedora base in future, so preferably tips for that please

The Forest is not the only game with which I had this problem. I have a monitor with a 2560x1440 resolution. However, when I try to change resolution in the game options, the max resolution is 1920x1080. I even tried to set the resolution in steam launch options but that didn't work as it launched with 1920x1080.

Hello everyone,

I want anyone to explain me about Vulcan shaders process because I have Dell vestro 3510 with i7-1165g7 and Intel iris xe graphics card when I start warframe I don't joking but the Vulcan shaders take 1 day to end this process I want to know is this normal or because of my GPU is weak and if anyone play warframe what is the perfect setup for it on fedora or nixos

[Spoiler alert] I don't pay any money on warframe I just trade with players so I don't care about it if anyone recommend lutris

I'm installing war thunder on my laptop and this is the second time i repeat the download and it does the same thing. Once everything gets downloaded and installed, it freezes at 99%, the download speed goes from peak to 1mbps on average, and the disk usage goes to 0 and doesn't come back up. I've tried everything at this point. I'm using the latest version of linux mint cinnamon, can anyone please help me and tell me what's going on? The peak was 70 mbps before it got used to the 1mbps.

I'm trying to install a game and Steam (Flatpak) wants to install it on /var/cache but I believe it's a bit odd as the way I understand /cache is for temporary data that is not supposed to last long. I just want to double-check if that's where it's supposed to install it, and if it isn't, where is the best place to install it?

So i downloaded gta san andreas (in the 🦜🦜🦜🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️ way in case anyone wondering, but it works like if i had the original on steam.) andit works fine, no lag or anything, but if i step into a car, the audio starts lagging so much, my ears have been blown away, and the gameplay itself is laggy, but it's not so noticable, i will provide system information:

Intel HD 520, Intel core i5 6300U, 8gb ram, and an SSD

I use CachyOS (arch btw), with kde in wayland, i haven't tried it on x11, but now i will, i used proton 3.6-8 because i heard that this should work flawlessly, ad i play it inside steam as said.

If anyone can help, i appriceate it, and goodbye!
