Hi, I upgraded yesterday. It's being working fantastically for me. But I'm curious to know if the sense that I have of the micro-stuttering being decimated, in the games I tested so far, is just the "honeymoon effect" or, other people are experiencing it as well.

My system:

• R7 5700X3D
• 4070 Super (nvidia 570.133.07)
• "I use Ubuntu (25.04), BTW. Don't moan about it." Cit.
• REBAR on
• Samsung SSD 870 EVO 4TB
• Samsung SSD 970 EVO 1TB

Games tested:

• Cyberpunk 2077 (GE-Proton 9-27, --launcher-skip, 970 EVO).
• Crysis 3 Remasterd (GE-Proton 9-26, gamescope -W 3840 -H 2160 -r 144 -f -e --, 870 EVO)
• Ratchet and Clank Rift a Part (Proton Experimental, no launch options, 970 EVO)
• Death Stranding Director's Cut (GE-Proton 9-21, no launch options, 870 EVO)

EDIT: I forgot to mention, the disk IO seems faster to me as well. The games are loading "PS5's fast". Storage configuration added.

I was having issues with a game i played .. did i litle upgrade .. still old but it runs perfectly !!!

Iv managed to get HDR working and the game launching fine. What bothers me is that frame time feels off. Not as smooth as expected despite reporting 100-130fps. Anything else needed in launch options aside from my --hdr-enable ? Tried protonCachyos and GEproton so far. 7900xt/7800x3d build, Cachy os latest.

I've been trying to play Titanfall 2 and the EA friends list cannot load and shows up as a blank window, I have tried both Proton 9 through 7 and GE-Proton9-27 through 9-24. I have also tried Hotfix and Experiential with no Success. Furthermore, I am using the Arch packaged version of Steam and have also tried 2 resources to help, which were:

I have also tried both of these together, with no success either. I'm really at a lost and any resources or help would be great!

Hello everyone, before the system update re3, reVC and reLCS worked properly, but after the update to Fedora 42 reVC and reLCS stopped running. Error: glfw error x11 platform not initialized.

Does anyone know if these projects are still being developed? Or did everything stop after the Take-Two ban? How are things going with the GTA SA port?

Have a decent rig (https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Vraylle/saved/YWC66h) running Linux Mint 22.1 xia, 6.8.0-58-generic. Been playing for months without any problem. Hadn't played in the last week or so, fired it up today and it's doing this bizarre stutter. Only game so far that does this. Have rebooted and am up to date.

I want to go to Linux, I bought a 9070XT and I really want to go to Linux, which distro do you recommend to choose, I currently play and do livestreams on Twitch on Windows and I would like to go to Linux, I'm currently using two monitors, one 1440p165hz and the other 1080p60hz, I don't know if it works well on Linux

I've used Linux Mint on a notebook and Arch Linux too. I also have experience in zorin and arco linux

So I've used windows my entire life but in recent years, especially with windows 11 it just dosent seem to be what i want anymore, I've been looking into switching my gaming pc to Linux but im not sure which version of Linux would be best for me, I've heard good things about arch and mint but I'd like some advice

Has anybody else started getting the "VAC was unable to verify your game session" error out of nowhere? I was playing fine last night and even for a game today. I've tried closing/reopening steam and rebooting without success.
