Hey everyone, I hope you can help me out. I'm really happy with Linux, everything works excellently except for HDR in games. I'm using Cachyos with Plasma, I can enable HDR in the display preferences and it works, the monitor switches to HDR. However, in games, even though I'm using the Cachy Proton and adding PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 PROTON_ENABLE_HDR=1 in the launch options for games in Steam, HDR remains disabled inside the games. I've tried with another monitor, both HDMI and DisplayPort, with different Protons, and different configurations, but nothing works. Just to try something, it doesn't work on Fedora either. It works fine on Windows. My GPU is a 7900XTX and the monitor is an AW3425DW.

Simply put, every time the game has to load something it takes ages, for example, launching it takes about 3-5 minutes, coming back to the battle barge takes 1-2 minutes, it's not the worst issue ever but it really takes out a lot of the joy from playing, also sometimes the frames drop noticeably but I've been used to playing with 15fps for years so it's not really an issue, though I have a feeling they're connected. I'm using Xubuntu and everything is up to date I think since I've moved from windows less than a week ago. if anyone knows what's going on please let me know! Thank you in advance! <3
