AppGameKit Version 2017.04.24 released with plugin-support for Linux
Submitted by playingtux on 24 Apr 2017 - 6:49pmAbout one month after the first introduction in AGK2 for Windows, the Linux-version of AppGameKit (aka AGK2) now also gains the long awaited plugin-support with the recently released version 2017.04.24 of AGK2.
You can now write/develop your own libraries (.so on Linux, .dll on Windows) in any language you like and include them as plugins in your AGK-programs.

The AGK-Community have been asked in a survey, which features they would like to see in the next versions, and they have been heard:

AppGameKit Version 2017.02.28 released

This new version adds some new functionalities (e. g. support for IPv6) and a lot of improvements and bugfixes.
Alse some new Video-Tutorials have been added to the Playlist on YouTube.
AppGameKit Version 2017.01.09 released

From this point forward we're using a new versioning number system for AppGameKit based on the date of release - so this one is called Build 2017.01.09
This maintenace build brings you these vital fixes and additions. Thanks for the feedback which helped us stabalise AppGameKit.

If you never heard of AGK: it's an Multiplatform (Linux/Windows/Android/MacOS/iOS/HTML5)-Engine and Editor, which allows writing of complex programs (it has been mainly developed for games) in a dialect of BASIC (but also C++) and exporting them to multiple platforms/OS.
