- Configurações do NVIDIA Control Panel:
- Acesse o NVIDIA Control Panel e verifique as configurações.

Switching from Windows to Linux Mint
I'm switching from Windows to Linux, but when going through videos and tutorials, I noticed that I had to wipe my PC completely. I want to keep all of my data and simply transfer it to the new OS without wiping anything except all traces of Windows. How can I go about doing that if I can at all?

Review meat74[.]com (not ad) project. Cs servers
Hi everyone. Today i tried to play on cs 1.6 gaming server by meat74[.]com (this she can be fishing!!!) project and i can say:
Admins don't understand what does it mean "linux". They banned me without reason (of course by reason, but this reason sounds like: " bro, you don't use core.dll, is that because you are f$#king cheater, isn't it? You shouldn't laughing with us. We are really serious project!"
Cs 1.6 officially playable on linux (i can play on servers with vac). This guys think that "if we have our own shit-anticheating-system, nobody can play with chests" but they don't understand that this anti cheat parody bans legitimate gamers...
They think: we are always right, you can always be found fault with

Can't install arch-gaming-meta package from the AUR
I keep getting this message: "could not find all required packages: [names of all of the packages]". I'm new to arch so I don't know exactly what might have happened to the package (I see they didn't get updated in a long time) or if I'm doing something wrong. Is there anyway to bypass this problem, or is it there any alternatives for this?
I'm using arch with cachyos-repos and kernel (cachyos-v3/linux-cachyos 6.15.3-3 stable) for gaming optimization right now, and I know there's the cachyos-gaming-meta package but this just sends me to dependencies hell ("The following package cannot be upgraded due to unresolvable dependencies: cachyos-gaming-meta").
Does anyone knows what to do?

Alternative to Bazzite due to 32 bit debacle
What is a good atomic/immutable distro geared towards gaming, that is NOT Fedora based like Nobara and Bazzite?
I've been using popos for years and haven't had issues, but due to the incessant push for Bazzite here, I'm tempted to try it. But due to the 32 bit fedora news I won't touch fedora distros on my gaming PC.

Dolphin SB3 'application error occured'
I'm running dolphin on kubuntu 24.04 through lutris. Trying to get sengoku basara 3 to run but the game gets to the save file loading screen and reports 'an application error has occured'. I havent done anything to dolphin other than install it through lustris. According to the dolphin wiki the game has no issues and ive been emulating it on windows for years with no issues.
I can't find anything about this issue online, any suggested ideas?

My 12 year old son just switched to Linux
So just today my son came to me asking about getting him Minecraft working. Turns out, yet again, some data corruption and maybe some random viruses on his PC. So I said we needed to wipe it again. We seem to have issues that need a reinstall of windows maybe every 6 months or so, some are his doing and some aren't. I made a comment off the cuff how I should force him to install Arch and then he can figure out how to be his own tech support, real quick.
To my utter astonishment, he said he would try it out if it weren't so hard. Well, me being me, I started a rundown of why I use Arch and how it was my first ever desktop distro and how it for Ed me to either learn how things work or have a broken system. He mentioned how he likes how my computer looks but wouldn't want to be forced into the terminal for just basic updates. I hit back with he could go with Kubuntu or Fedora KDE, they use the same DE I use and that it's the DE that makes the look and feel and not as much the distro.
Before I knew it, we were sitting side by side deciding on a distro that uses KDE for him. Since Kubuntu is still on Plasma 5 I said Fedora may be a good choice, or then even bazzite because it's like having a steam deck on his desk. Well, sure as my name isn't Princess Butt Stallion he picked Bazzite and I let him guide himself through the whole install process.
Two hours later he had not just an installed system but also had all the software he would normally use, 99% of it at least, and was on a discord call to his friends playing games and seemed genuinely excited.
He told me that it was actually fun installing something new and figuring out how it all worked. This is why I Love Linux so much. So yeah, my boy has Bazzite installed on his PC now and I'm just smiling to myself at the idea. Wasn't very long ago he was making fun of me for having to "make hacker code just to use your computer" so this makes me chuckle on the inside.
So yeah, as long as you can play games and use a web browser, you don't need much else.
I just figured I would share. It's not strictly gaming related but it was gaming that made this 12 year old boy finally decide enough is enough and that he had it with Windows. Bazzite was what threw me for a loop but I let him make that decision himself and since gaming was his primary concern, it seemed like that was a good place to start to him.
So yeah, fun times! 👍
