Problems With mangohud
Hello, I hope you are feeling very well today or whenever you read this post. I would like to ask if anyone knows how to configure mangohud correctly. I have not been able to make it work in any way on Steam and in Heroic it only works with epic and maybe gog games (I have not tried any yet) but not with locally installed games, the same thing happens with lutris. I have tried adding the environment variable: MANGOHUD=1 in the settings of both heroic and lutris
In the case of Steam I have tried adding the commands: mangohud %command%, MANGOHUD=1 I also tried opening steam directly with mangohud but it doesn't work either.
I also tried modifying .basrc and adding the lines: export MANGOHUD=1 but it didn't work either, I would greatly appreciate if someone can help me with this or recommend an alternative that solves this problem. the distribution I use is: Ubuntu 25.04

laptop freezes when playing one games
I have an issue when playing some games using proton on MSI GE60 2OE (I think I've talked about the issue before) that when playing the game and starting a video on the browser the laptop freezes and I can't switch to tty (I can only do ssh to get some info)
My laptop is optimus intel HD 4600 with nvidia 765m using nvidia legacy 470 and I use kde plasma (X11) on cachy os
also last time after rebooting my laptop I've read Xorg.0.log.old and I've seen an error that tells
modeset(0): Present-flip: queue async flip during flip on CRTC 0 failed: Invalid argument
this error got spammed around 11 time then the two lines below have came after that which looked like
[ 186.129] (WW) modeset(0): Present-flip: detected too frequent flip errors, disabling logs until frequency is reduced
[ 187.808] (WW) modeset(0): flip queue retry
If any one can help , that would be appreciated
anyway the I will put the Xorg log here if it's useful
Edit: sorry I've missed when typing the title I've meant : laptop freezes when playing some* games

DxgiFactory::CreateSwapChainForComposition: Not implemented - what should I do?
I just tried to run Anno 117 Beta and got this message. I know, this is a beta and really really new, but I just thought I'd try it before booting up Windows.
I tried Proton Experimental and GE-Proton 10-9. I'm using OpenSUSE Tumbleweed, NVIDIA 2060 Super with 570.169 (still waiting for 575 for kernel 6.15)
What I'd like to know: Do I have to wait for a new Proton version? Or is it my graphics driver? Should I open a Github issue, and if so, where?
