I'm having a serious issue running Red Dead Redemption 2 on Fedora. I've tried Proton Experimental, Proton 9.0-4 stable, and multiple Proton GE versions, but the problem is the same across all of them. The game boots extremely slowly at first (likely shader compilation) and when it finally loads, the audio plays normally but the graphics are completely broken and corrupted. GPU usage stays at 0% according to MangoHUD.

This is the only game giving me this issue. Cyberpunk 2077, Resident Evil Village, RE4 Remake, and The Last of Us Part II all run perfectly fine on this system using Proton.

My specs:

• Ryzen 5 8600G
• Radeon 760M iGPU (UMA Frame Buffer: 8GB)
• 32 GB DDR5 6000 MHz RAM (dual channel)
• 1TB WD Blue Gen4 NVMe SSD

Has anyone running Fedora experienced this specifically with RDR2? Is this possibly a Mesa issue with Fedora 42? Any working configuration advice would be appreciated.

It also works perfectly with ibus (ibus-hangul). I was a bit worried when Paradox announced it as Windows-only, but it runs just fine.
