FNA: version 26.11 released

FNA has been released in version 26.11.

FNA is an open-source reimplementation of XNA4 that aims to provide an exact XNA4 runtime for the desktop - many game ports on Linux and macOS are built on it.

The update brings updated FNA3D and FAudio dependencies as well as fixes for Math and Graphics classes, including several regressions and a possible crash when disposing the built-in VertexDeclarations.

New Features:

  • Update to FNA3D 26.11
  • Update to FAudio 26.11

Fixes:

  • One more small handful of Exception accuracy fixes, mostly for Storage and Touch
  • Math:
    • Color conversion from float rounds instead of truncates, improving color accuracy
    • Fixed some bogus comparisons that broke Vector3.Transform
    • Fixed the Ray.Intersects(BoundingBox) result when the intersection distance is 0
  • Graphics:
    • Fixed a regression that broke certain calls to Texture GetData
    • Fixed a regression that broke viewport state on certain GraphicsDevice resets
    • Fixed a possible crash caused by attempting to Dispose the built-in VertexDeclarations
    • Fixed an erroneous Exception being thrown about RenderTarget state when disposing GraphicsDevice
    • EffectParameter now truncates certain SetValue inputs depending on the element count, fixes potential buffer overwrites
    • Bgr565.PackFromVector4 now actually assigns the PackedValue, woops
  • FNAPlatform: Window close events should now set IsActive to false
  • Storage: PlayerIndex 255 is treated as null/AllPlayers
  • DrawableGameComponent: GraphicsDevice property now fetches from Game.Services, fixing Components not added to Game itself
