Godot Engine: maintenance release 4.7.2 released

The Godot Engine has been released in maintenance version 4.7.2.

The update fixes 57 bugs, contributed by 39 developers. According to the developers, there are no known incompatibilities with the previous 4.7.1 release, so the upgrade should be straightforward.

Maintenance releases are expected to be safe for an upgrade, but as always, we recommend backing up your project before upgrading, and using version control to be able to roll back any unintended changes.

This release resolves performance issues when moving the mouse with high polling rate on Windows, a core fix that makes it impossible to have more than one main thread and avoids unnecessary releases, and improved entropy handling where mbedTLS now consistently uses Godot’s OS as its entropy source.

Additional fixes span multiple areas: 3D ruler tooltips, Asset Store scaling, file logging crashes, input handling, navigation debugging, and shadow rendering improvements.
