The changelog to the update:

Tropico 6 Update 22 - Acuerdos entre amigos

Fellow Tropicans,

We have just released Update 22 for Steam, PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 | 5.
With Update 22, we have added new free content with the “Trading Post” building, which allows you to send wares to other players in multiplayer and foreign superpowers and create trade routes for that ware.
Furthermore, we have various other fixes in our update repertoire.

For more details, please check out the full changelog below.

Viva Tropico!

New Building:
Added the “Trading Post” to the game, which can be found in the “Traffic & Infrastructure” construction menu).
The Trading Post enables you to send wares to foreign superpowers, which creates a trade route for that ware. Trade routes improve the more goods you send. In Multiplayer Mode, you can use the Trading Post to send wares to other players who also own a Trading Post.
The “More Samples” building upgrade reduces the time until you can ship to the same superpower again by -25%. Existing cooldowns are not affected.

Gameplay Adjustments:
Pirate attacks have been adjusted. Once a building with resources got destroyed, they plunder the resources. When they have plundered enough, they leave Tropico again if not defeated by the player. Adjustments to the amount of plunder scales are possible with the "Pirate Difficulty" in the Sandbox settings.
This change was based on your community feedback as it fits the pirate theme more.

Fixed some issues with old generated random map codes, where landscape features and resources were displaced after loading.

Fixed an issue where plantations were granted the “Multiculture” workmode bonus while paused.

Fixed an issue where the radiobroadcasts for Landmarks were not playing when they were built within less than 1 year of each other.
Fixed an issue where the babies’ ethnicity was random and independent from its parents.
Fixed an issue with odd values in workmode-descriptions of the Childhood Museum. (T6DEV-7063)

The description of the DLC:

A new age is dawning upon Tropico. In his ultimate wisdom, the best leader of the best nation E V E R, El Presidente has brought a new visionary expansion to the citizens of Tropico, turning toward the great Blue Gold that surrounds Tropico’s unmatched shores – the ocean.

Tropico 6 – Tropican Shores brings you a multitude of new opportunities to build and expand your island upon the ocean. Turn water into wine… pardon: turn water into electricity with the new Tidal Power Station, collect shiny Pearls with the Pearl Diver, and provide your subjects a host of new (and totally non-shack-related) housing options (caution: those houseboats might attract long-haired musician families.)
Speaking of musicians – it wouldn’t be your favorite banana republic if there weren’t new ways for Tropicans and filthy rich tourists to spend their hard-earned money: the Private Yacht Shipyard has you covered, but you’d better make sure there are no icebergs in sight!

With all the excitement of this news, you may find yourself in need of something relaxing to distract you from your ocean preparations. Luckily, El Prez has you covered with the restorative Dolphin Therapy – but be careful to vote for him or those dolphins might turn into sharks!

Blue Gold: Tropico 6 – Tropican Shores adds 15 new buildings providing new options for infrastructure, residencies, entertainment, and public services as well as a new resource, Pearls.
‘Yachts for El Presidente’: Contains a new scenario that will help you navigate the luxurious new options to expand your nation on the water.
Bread and Circuses: Convince the Tropicans of your greatness with Submarine Tours, The Tropitanic, and relaxing Dolphin Therapy.
A Leaders’ Playground: Reap the benefits of your new power on land and sea with 4 brand new sandbox maps, ‘Pequeño Pero Mucho’, ‘Hipocampo’, ‘Las Manchas y Los Puntos’ and the map from the scenario ‘Yachts for El Presidente’.
Dressed for Big Splash: Enhance your style with a Scuba Outfit and a shiny deco yacht for the Palace Garden.
Tax Them All: 3 new edicts will help you reduce construction costs for offshore buildings, increase their efficiency, and open up brand new options to tax your citizens.
