I Created A Free Gamepad For Linux Gaming
Few months ago, I created an app that let you use your phone as a controller for your pc. There was a lot of issues faced by people who tested it. If you are reading this, thank you so much for testing it. But since then, I have worked upon it day and night. From changing the socket connection to UDP connection, then from using Python library to using Linux uinput module with c++. And here I am, to present you the best version of Gamypad for now. This is an app for everyone who use Linux, and want to play multiplayer games but can't currently buy a game controller. This is not a replacement of a physical gamepad, I got many people upset last time but this is not at all a replacement, phsyical gamepad is always better. But this is for those, who are like me, can't get a gamepad but want to experience multiplayer or just want to sit on their couch and play some retro games!
Here are some list of games I recommend playing with this controller:
Mortal Kombat 10
WWE 2K25
Hallow Knight
Sleeping Dogs
Life is Strange or any story based game
Any emulated game below PS3
Here are some game I recommend not to play:
Soul based game
Any Fps

Problem with Controller
Hey folks,
I’m trying to switch over to Ubuntu (24.04) for gaming, but I’ve been running into some frustrating controller issues. I’m using a DualSense controller via Bluetooth.
Sometimes it works perfectly fine — e.g. I just played Khazan for about 30 minutes without any problems at all. But then, without any obvious reason, things start going completely haywire: inputs either have massive delays or don’t register at all. In many cases, this already happens right when I start a game. Having it run smoothly for 30 minutes is actually the exception rather than the rule.
Has anyone else experienced this kind of inconsistent behavior with the DualSense over Bluetooth on Ubuntu? Do you know what might be causing it, or if there’s a reliable fix/workaround?
Thanks in advance!

DualSense Controller Only Working As Trackpad
Hey all, I'm trying to get back into Linux gaming again, and I recently installed CachyOS KDE Plasma with the gaming-meta and gaming-applications post install via their wiki. I was hoping it would make things a bit smoother, and while that remains to be seen, I'm having a really hard time getting my DualSense controller to work as a controller when trying to run a game through Wayland.
I have the controller connected via USB-C cable, and it functions as essentially a laptop Trackpad. I've played around with turning the steam controller stuff off, as well as the launch option PROTON_NO_STEAMINPUT=1 and PROTON_PREFER_SDL=1, but to no avail. The game I'm mostly referring to in this example (Elden Ring Nightreign) should be natively compatible with the DualSense, but I can't get it to work.
Is there something I'm missing to get the controller working as well, a controller? Thank you for any help.

Anyone tried the new PopOS 24.04 Cosmic beta for gaming?
I know people found a lot of issues previously on the alphas. So how is game compatibility now?
