Lutris EAapp conflicting with Steam install
I tried installing sims4 from lutris by installing the EAapp but it kept crashing. I switched to installing from steam and now everytime I try to install the EAapp from that it errors out. it's clearly conflicting with my lutris install because I tried it on another account and it worked perfectly. does anyone know what files might be conflicting or what to nuke from lutris' install files?
I've tried removing the EAapp from lutris and tried uninstalling lutris but obviously that doesn't remove the files that are conflicting

It runs natively on Linux. I personally use ubuntu and it was important for me to make sure that it runs properly on it.

Touchscreen as a trackpad on KDE Wayland
I need a way to turn the touchscreen into trackpad on KDE Wayland (Bazzite). I've already tried touchegg with touche, but it doesn't seem to be working (in all fairness, it says it doesn't officially support Wayland). I'm wondering if anyone knows of a way to turn a touchscreen into a trackpad.

Gamescope crash!
when i run a game in gamescope (KDE wayland) and Alt+f4, the game freezes then shows a crash message as in the vedio
and the game does not go fully in fullscreen as you can see the top bar

PoP SoP Lutris suddenly thinks my joystick is always pushed forward
Hello,
I have installed the GoG version of Prince of Persia Sands of Time with Lutris on Debian 13. I play with an 8bitdo Ultimate 2 controller. It worked normally and I could make it ok to 65 percents of the game. But suddenly now the game thinks the left stick is always pushed forward after the first activation of the controller. I launch the game, nothing happens, I push a button on the controller, the game thinks the left stick is pushed and never released. If I go into the mapping screen of the game, the game will immediately assigns the left joystick forward to any button I click on because, hey, the left joystick is pushed forward after all.
It seems to happen within the game. If I go into wine control, everything seems to work fine. Same in Duckstation (my only other game).
This morning I installed the GoG version of Beyond Good and Evil because I want it to be my next game. I fiddled with the Appimage of AntiMicroX, because BGE doesn't support controllers. Maybe this is related, but I'm not sure - I just launched AntiMicroX and didn't do anything in it. I tried deleting everything related to AntiMicroX but no luck.
Any idea on how I can use my controller again to beat PoP ?

firestorm launched private wow server running like shit on high end endeavouros amd build
having extreme performance issues with firestorm launcher (private wow server) on my system. game runs at 5 fps
specs:
ryzen 7 7800x3d
rx 7900 xtx
32gb ddr5
endeavouros
tried proton ge latest and proton 9.0. other games run fine. gpu detected properly in system.
anyone else run into this with private wow clients on rdna3? tried different proton versions but no change.
what launch options or kernel parameters actually work for this?

Would like to switch to Linux from windows 11 for gaming, light streaming and Internet browsing.
I'm brand new to all things Linux. My specs are i9 12900kf, 5070ti, 64 gb 3600 ddr4, 850 PSU. Not sure where to start but my PC keeps crashing with every new update to windows.so I figured if I can find a good alternative then I'd give it a shot. Any help is welcome, thank you.

GG SONAR - LINUX
Bazzite Crew Motorfest failed with code 1003
Have been using bazzite for a little over a year now. First time I'm truly frustrated getting something that's verified to launch.
Trying to get Ubisoft Connect version of Crew Motorfest to work and I'm getting this error from the Ubisoft logs. This happens shortly after I press play. I get syncing achievements message then my pc starts reving up and then it opens ubisoft launcher again
I've done all different "working" reddit/protondb comments on different posts and none have helped. From adding Ubisoft connect to steam with/without launch options and adding Motorfest through that way. To even trying somebody's comment that says PortProton worked for them out of the box. Even trying the steam demo did not work got ubisoft connect was not installed error. Steam version is a no either way since I own it in ubisoft connect. I've reinstalled many times in different ways.
Issue is that ubisoft connect doesn't get a connection to verify? Anybody got any ideas how to solve this?

Having issues with RE8. Crashing constantly
Hey all I'm in desperate need for some help. I've been playing RE8 and have had no issues with it at all, up until now that is. I'm near the end of the game in the factory and every time I specifically kill one of the soldat enemies, my entire game and hyprland crashes and resets. The first time you encounter one that's like semi-scripted, it was fine. Now though any time I kill one at all and only that enemy type, the game crashes. I started running past them and the game kept going just fine. However, now I'm at a point where I don't think I can just run past them.
I've tried seemingly everything to my knowledge. I'm running Omarchy and that is up to date. I've verified integrity in steam multiple times. I've tried custom proton 10-27, 10-30 and 9-04. I had REFramework installed but uninstalled that and still didn't help. I've lowered my graphical settings a ton. I've tried saving the game on different save slots. I've reinstalled the game. I'm not sure what else to do at this point and I'm lost. Any suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated.

Intel Arc A750 Performance
Hello everyone,
I'm planning to switch from Windows 11 to CachyOS, but I don't know how the performance will be or if the drivers are supported and compatible. I'm worried there might be a drop in FPS. I play games like Marvel rivals and Minecraft
I'm not planning to buy a new GPU, and I'm not considering it, so please refrain from suggesting that I upgrade.

wayland vs x11 ?
I'm primarily using Wayland because of how smooth it is for general workflow, but when I play certain games, my screen starts flickering, which makes for a really bad experience.
When I switched to X11, gaming worked flawlessly. The problem is that, outside of gaming, the general experience feels stuttery and clunky, mostly due to my dual monitor setup.
(165hz main ; 30hz secondary)
Is there any way to fix this under X11, or do I need to look for another alternative?
System info: Debian 13 stable, GTX 1060 6GB with v550 proprietary drivers, running GNOME.
PS: I head that v555 fix wayland+nvidia issues like these, but can't find a way to install these drivers to be stable with my system
