Just what the survivorlike bullet heaven genre thingy needed - nudity! Conquest Dark from Eldritch Sword Games actually has quite a number of fun game mechanics worth exploring, the nudity is optional but it has a point.

Low end Linux gaming, recommend me some titles

Reddit Linux_Gaming - 08. Mai 2025 - 11:49

While I can enjoy new games with my home setup, my student/work laptop is a measly Radeon 7530U.

Recommend me some games that will run at at at least 60 fps @ 1080p on a laptop chip like that, thanks.

Elite on Linux?

Reddit Linux_Gaming - 08. Mai 2025 - 11:07

Linux geniuses, I need some advice.

I'm looking to migrate over to Linux away from Windows for various reasons I won't go into.

I'm relatively easy about which distro I should use as I don't have many applications to migrate across who's hole can't be filled by a native Linux app (Word etc.), although I do want one that's fairly straightforward and easy to use.

However, the one thing I would like to use is Elite Dangerous.

Now I'm happy in the short term to just have a dual boot with Windows on one side for Elite and Linux for the rest, but long term I'd like to ditch Windows altogether.

My question is; is there a particular distro on which Elite works? Bear in mind my version of Elite is from the FDev site itself and not through Steam as i migrated over from console.

If someone has a handy guide that would be perfect, or if not explain it as if you're explaining to complete noob.

Many thankings in advance.

Windows anti-cheats solution by dummy maybe

Reddit Linux_Gaming - 08. Mai 2025 - 10:11

Im thinking this might be very dumb i dont know but since some anti cheats need a windows kernel to work couldnt you just add another kernel since linux uses multiple but make it like dormant so its only in use when told to so the game/anticheat runs on that kernel and not the linux kernel?

Ways to get FSR in games

Reddit Linux_Gaming - 08. Mai 2025 - 09:04

Are there any tools in Linux that add FSR 2 or 3 to games(Like Magpie for windows). Yeah ik Proton GE has that feature but I'm pretty sure it's FSR 1 because it looks terrible compared to when i used Magpie in windows.

steam not running

Reddit Linux_Gaming - 08. Mai 2025 - 09:03

hello , for some reason steam don't run after installing it (and i mean i press the icon and the process doesn't even start ) i had tried several solutions that involved using terminal but didn't work as well

i use linux mint

(i don't know if that's relevant ;one of the solutions was making me use (sudo apt get-update) which showed me an error at the end saying that something doesn't support architecture i38 (it was several things that showed that message ))

Is Bazzite the Only Option?

Reddit Linux_Gaming - 08. Mai 2025 - 07:20

I am looking to download a handheld OS that is SteamOS-like but I am going to be honest, Bazzite is Clunky, there are fixes being put out, but I want to be able to choose my own desktop environment and not have immutable files bitching at me.

I want an experience I can custom fit to my needs, that also has a barebones SteamOS face that I can customize. Not sure if much of the Bazzite OS can be customized, and the reviews are mixed—some love it, some despise it.

Any other recommendations out there, other than Bazzite?
