Hello!
We're a team of two indie devs who have been developing Dice'n Goblins for almost 2 years! The game is now available on Steam for Linux and you can play it right now: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2945950/Dice_n_Goblins/(link is external)
The game is inspired by classic dungeon crawler RPGs like Wizardry and Etrian Odyssey, with the twist that you use dice to fight monsters. It features a ~15h story where you have to help Gobby, a small goblin escape the seemingly infinite dungeon. The campaign features 10 maps, full of monsters to fight, dice to collect, and characters to befriend.
The combat system is turn-based. You have to roll dice to attack, defend, and heal yourself. Of course, not everything depends on luck. At every turn, you have the opportunity to re-roll dice or use skills to change the outcome of your rolls.
The game is available natively for Linux. We've tested it quite a bit on Steam Deck and members of our community played it entirely without issues on Ubuntu desktops.

Was using mesa-git and went back to regular mesa? Was using packages from the cachyos repo, could that be part of the problem?
Am using nvidia, wayland, also have firejail and apparmor, but I removed the local/bin/steam symlink. Maybe I need to un-firejail something else? Also have opensnitch but it does not seem to be blocking anything specific?
any other debug ideas?

Does anyone know why Doom Eternal does not work with proton with nvidia 570 drivers?(link is external)
The only way I have been able to get around this issue is by holding off on the driver upgrades but it's been a few months and I'm worried about my system becoming unstable (since I also need to hold off on the linux kernel upgrades).
I'm using proton version 7.0-6. All other versions have had really bad performance.
I haven't tested other games in my library extensively since DE is what I'm into lately but I tested Civ 6 and it started but had all kinds of graphical glitches.

Hello,
I keep getting "ERR_SYS_THREAD" whenever trying to run the game. From research online I found that this was due to having too many cores? I tried making a BAT file and reducing the cores but that didn't seem to work. I'm running the game via Heroic Games Launcher.
Anyone have any luck getting this to run? I'm using Pop!_OS.

Cyberpunk 2077 photo gallery location(link is external)
I found some other posts that suggested the photo gallery location was here - /home/booga/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/1091500/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser
However I don't even have the Picture folder at that location, just a Saved Game folder.
Does anyone know where I can find my saved game photos?

Hey, everyone!
First of all, I should say that I'm very new to the Linux universe, but specially to gaming on Linux. That said, most of the games I've installed through Heroic Games Launcher worked right out of the box, but some other games freeze at startup screen and display a dialog window with the following message:
"steam_app_0" Is Not Responding
You may choose to wait a short while for it to continue or force the app to quite entirely
No other useful information is displayed. Can any of you guys help me out? Thank you in advance.
Observation: All games I've run are quacked.

GOverlay always says "Throttling" no matter what game I play and I don't know where to start for troubleshooting(link is external)
GPU (7900xtx) and CPU (5800x) temps are pretty low and aren't being used that much, but any game I play will have the throttling indicator
If I disable the frame limit of 75fps, some games will increase the GPU frequency and percentage use, but will still be marked as throttled
Where do I start for finding out what's causing this?

Games do not want to be run on my Nvidia GPU but instead default to Intel Integrated Graphics(link is external)
As can be seen in the nvidia-smi output, the only process it supposedly runs is an X11 server (?), although when I do echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE it outputs Wayland. My GPU is Turing so following the Arch wiki I installed nvidia-open drivers as well nvidia-utils for the fbdev and modeset options.

Witchfire closes directly after launching(link is external)
As the title suggests, the game keeps closing and im not sure why. I was able to run this game when i had windows installed but on linux it doesnt work. Other games work on my system its just witchfire that ive been struggling with.
Ive tried verifying game files and i should have the right graphics drivers (nvidia 570) installed. Compatibility mode on the game doesnt seem to make a difference either.

Playing windows partition games on my Linux drive?(link is external)
Hello! I wanted to know if it's possible play windows games that are on drive A, launch them with Linux (drive B). Or should I install the games twice on their own drive format respectively? If this is the case, do I partition both drives' OSes away from their game partition?
