Can't get CS:S textures to work with TF2
how do I get TF2 to recognize that CS:S is installed so I don't get missing texture errors?

Fallout Shelter - Steam Modded
Looking to spice up a Fallout Shelter play through, a bit curious if anyone's gotten mods to work via Steam launcher or some other sort of mod manager.

Help running Wolfenstein: The New Order on Fedora KDE 42?
I've tried multiple versions of Proton, including several versions of Proton-GE (8-11, 8-25, 9-10, 10-10, 10-20, 10-26), and read through ProtonDB and tried just about every launch command on there.
My system info, straight from Steam is this:

Joy-cons pairing to bluetooth but not being recognized
I know for somepeople that just use steam or have used https://github.com/DanielOgorchock/joycond may have experienced a simple way to use their joycons on linux, however for my case it has been impossible for the last few days. Bassycally i ran into this problem where bluetooth would recognize my controllers but they were not recognized by anything else. I have seen similar threats like https://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/comments/1b93q77/linux_mint_nintendo_switch_joycons_not_getting/ so I tried installing joycond, followed all the steps and verified i activated the service on my computer but that really didn't make any difference, it has been somewhat of a frustrating experience for me so if anyone has a solution and it gets registered here i think it would be really useful for a lot of people.
For instance, i can connect both joycons to bluetooth and they are recognized in the menu but neither steam or any other program recognices it. Nor gamepad tester or whatever.
both joycons recognized and paired
not recognized in steam or any other program
If useful

Series X Controller not working in Lutris
As the title says, I have a Series X controller, my distro is Kubuntu, and so far ive tried quite possibly every fix there is, and I simply cannot get it to work.
I am trying to play Need For Speed - Shift on my laptop, via steam it works, there's controller support but Proton crashes it before the game loads. It seems to prefer running on wine.
The problem is that Steam is able to detect and properly use the controller, yet Lutris / Wine is unable to, no matter what game I play on Lutris. I have tried it on my other NFS titles, etc. None of which seem to work, anyone have a solution? I have tried AntiMicroX and its simply not precise enough (as the game requires controller like throttle inputs, turning, etc. AntiMicroX just uses keyboard inputs, though I may be mistaken.)As the title says, I have a Series X controller, my distro is Kubuntu, and so far ive tried quite possibly every fix there is, and I simply cannot get it to work.

Help With Gamepad Support
Hey everyone pretty new to this got a legion go s recently and loved steam os so I came up with the idea to run a long hdmi cable from my pc to the tv across the room and thought id run a steamos like distro on another ssd and boot into that when i wanna couch game. Everything works fine but im at my wits end with gamepad support ive tried a dualsense an xbox series and an 8bitdo controller and they all work perfectly fine to control the steam interface but once i boot into a game it ceases to function. I can still press the guide button and quit the game but absolutely no functionality within the games themselves. Ive even tried switching to other distros I started with bazzite then tried Nobara and currently am running chimeraos all with the same issue any help would be super appreciated.
