Arctis Sound Manager: Version 1.6.2 released

Arctis Sound Manager has been released in version 1.6.2, one day after version 1.6.1.

New are custom EQ and base station settings for the Arctis Nova Pro Omni as well as the asm-cli tools probe command. Bugs were also fixed for the Arctis 7 (USB overflow), the installation on Distrobox and automatic game presets under Proton.

Added

asm-cli tools probe: Asks the headset for its state with read-only queries and saves the results to ~/asm-probe.json.

Custom EQ and base station settings for Arctis Nova Pro Omni: Includes equalizer switching, microphone sidetone, line out controls, and screensaver settings.

Fixed

Arctis 7 USB overflow (#317): The dongle can get stuck sending status frames larger than its USB endpoint allows. The application now resets the dongle and logs more information.

Distrobox installation (#329): Clips packages now install using the container’s sudo instead of pkexec.

Game preset application (#328): Automatic presets now work for games like Black Myth: Wukong under Proton by retrieving process IDs from audio clients when streams lack them.
