Arctis Sound Manager has been released in version 1.4.34, shortly after version 1.4.33.
New is a DAC wheel overlay: turning the volume wheel on the base station or GameDAC makes ASM show a bar at the bottom of the screen (can be disabled in the settings). The Arctis Pro Wireless also gets a spare battery charging display on the Channels page and base station OLED control on the DAC page. In addition, several bugs were fixed, including a startup crash on Linux, a wrong 50% battery reading and audio dropouts after EQ changes.
Added
- DAC wheel overlay: Turning the volume wheel on the base station / GameDAC floats a “DAC wheel” bar at the bottom of the screen, with a toggle in settings.
- Arctis Pro Wireless: Spare battery charging display on the Channels page and base station OLED control from the DAC page.
Fixed
- Battery level (#305): Fixed an incorrect 50% battery reading by correcting radio link state detection.
- Linux startup crash (#306): PySide6 QtDBus is now a declared dependency; a missing module now disables only the GNOME overlay instead of the entire GUI.
- Audio dropout after EQ changes (#304): Apps are automatically repositioned when a channel is recreated during preset switching.
