SaveManager: v1.10.1 released

SaveManager, the “swiss army knife” of game save file management, has been released in version v1.10.1.

This update is a pure bugfix release: individual backups are now restored to the correct save location, and several issues with restoring and SFTP uploads have been fixed.

I missed some critical bugs

Core

Fixed

  • Fixed an issue where restoring an individual backup (e.g. a specific Minecraft world) always restored into the first detected save location instead of the one it was actually backed up from
  • Fixed an issue where restoring a backup with multiple save locations on Windows could place files in the wrong location
  • Fixed an issue where a backup manifest missing a file’s hash entry could abort a restore partway through, leaving a save file renamed and not restored
  • Fixed an issue where an exception during a backup restore did not trigger a restoration of conflict renamed files
  • Fixed an issue where ‘Free wasted once’ & ‘Free busted once’ flags were not being serialized in the GTA:SA save editor
  • Fixed an issue where SFTP backup uploads deleted existing remote backups on failure
  • Fixed a crash if a backup failed partway through (e.g. a USB drive or network share disappearing mid-backup)

Changed

  • Backups containing a manifest that fails to read/parse now also fail to extract
  • Backups containing a manifest that does not list one of its files now blocks a restore

GUI

Fixed

  • Fixed an issue where the backup restore modal did not clear the pending conflicts upon opening it
