I want to have a stopwatch and I got livesplit to "work" on my machine but FNAF goes fullscreen and the livesplit window doesn't go on top of it. ..or does anyone know how to make FNAF in windowed mode?

What Linux distro do you use for gaming (Steam, Minecraft, etc.)?

Reddit Linux_Gaming - 25 Jul 2025 - 4:39pm

Hey everyone, I'm thinking of switching to Linux or at least trying it in a VM before installing it on my main system. I'm mainly looking for something that has:

A good-looking and modern UI

Great performance for gaming (Steam, Minecraft/Lunar Client, etc.)

Easy setup for drivers and game launchers

Good support for Proton, Lutris, etc.

So far, I've heard good things about Pop!_OS, Ubuntu, and Linux Mint. I'm curious what you use and recommend for gaming in 2025. Do you run into any problems with compatibility, performance, or updates?

Would love to hear your setups and any tips for someone coming from Windows. Thanks in advance!
