Hori Fighting Stick alpha? (Xbox Series or PS5)

Reddit Linux_Gaming - 22 Mar 2026 - 10:47am

My google-fu is strong, but I can't find a definite report of either of these working in Linux. It's a wired device... I don't know if that means it will just use Xinput and work; the 'xone' project on github (https://github.com/medusalix/xone) leads me to believe recent Xbox peripherals are not always a sure thing.

Or maybe it's just wireless devices... I have no idea and can't test. (A good test might be... does anyone have a Xbox Series X|S controller that works fine in Linux wired, without using any of the extended github projects?)

Only report I can find is some guy couldn't get his PS5 version working in Steam. (https://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/comments/1pl9cs1/getting_hori_alpha_to_recognize_within_steam/)

Devices in question:

Hori Fighting Stick alpha PS5

Hori Fighting Stick alpha Xbox Series X|S

Thanks for any input.

Infrastructure #674 | A psychological terminal-horror game where every command reveals the truth. Learn real Linux commands while uncovering the truth.

I made a psychological horror game where you learn real Linux commands

Hi everyone,

I’m working on a small indie game called **Infrastructure #674**.

It’s a psychological horror game where the player explores a mysterious infrastructure terminal and slowly uncovers the truth behind a rogue AI.

The twist is that the game teaches real Linux-style commands while you play.

You interact with the system using commands like:

help
scan
connect
ls
cat
decrypt

As the investigation progresses the system starts reacting to the player and strange glitches begin to appear.

The idea is to combine:
- terminal hacking gameplay
- psychological horror
- learning Linux basics

I’d love to get feedback from developers and players.

What do you think about the concept?
Would you play something like this?

If anyone wants to test it I can share the build.

Sober behaving weirdly

Reddit Linux_Gaming - 22 Mar 2026 - 10:36am

So I was using Sober on my steamdeck as usual, but the arrow key stopped working correctly. They started just moving me or the camera slightly in one direction instead of what they were supposed to do. I tried factory reset and it worked for a short time just for the issue to appear again.
