Casual / puzzle game clone suggestions?
tl;dr: Are there any good sliding block puzzle style games any of you know of, similar to this, for Linux? What about hidden object puzzle games?
Longer / backstory:
My partner is migrating from Win10 to Linux, after being pissed off at Microsoft and seeing how well my Linux experience has gone. This isn't their first time using Linux, but it has been a decade+.
Most of their games are easy enough to run under Linux; either native Linux ports or well-supported by Proton. In fact, putside needing to learn Krita (I miss paint.net so much on Linux... and Pinta isn't good enough), everything so far seems to be smooth sailing - everything save one type of game.
The casual game.
The casual games they play from the Windows App Store (or pretty much every mobile app store as well). At the moment the plan is to set up Waydroid and have them play that way (since these type of games are plentiful on mobile OSes), but I was kinda surprised to not see some type of clone for Linux.
I'm assuming I'm just failing at my search (these games have super generic names that make it impossible to search), thus my question to you all:
Are there any good clones of sliding block puzzle games? Something like this one on the GooPlay store. There are dozens upon dozens of clones of this exact game, all with some type of predatory ad-based monetization - which is why I'm surprised I haven't found a free Linux clone of one.
What about hidden object puzzle games? This one I'm going to assume they'd rather play the ones they know via Waydroid because of the social connections they have there, but it would still be nice to know in case they want to switch things up.
Thanks in advance!

Need some help with ram consumption.
Yo guys, I recently moved to mint Linux(after trying out Manjaro kde). And I’m also new into playing cs2. I had no problem downloading the Linux version from steam and all that. The game works, but whenever I start a match the ram usage jumps from like 10.3% to average of 85%-90%. As a result the game either crashes or I get the “you were disconnected” error. Just for reference, I have an average graphics card, intel i5 processor and 16gigs of memory.

[AMDGPU] Crashing while running Minecraft
So here I am.
I've been playing this modpack we did with some friends, and I've been constantly crashing. Not the game crashing, I mean a full system freeze, nothing responding, not even kernel panicking, the kind of crash where I have to push the restart button on the PC.
I have tried to troubleshoot a few things :
- First, this only happens on Linux, as my friends playing on Windows do not experience this crash
- Second, I have tried removing mods that could change something with the graphics, nothing changed
- Third, I noticed an update to Mesa and did it (running on Arch, every single package is up to date)
- Lastly, I am always monitoring my hardware usage while playing and I am 100% sure that nothing was being fully used. Also I am 100% confident that my hardware has no physical flaw because it has already been tested.
Did someone experience this kind of crashes. And if so, how did you fix it ?
I feel like playing Minecraft on Linux is getting harder and harder, everything keeps having problems. A few months back there was a huge memory leak that was only affecting Linux and there was "nothing that could be done".

Is Nvidia worse with power usage on Linux?
I have noticed higher electricity bills lately for the past months, so I decided to check power usage between Linux and Windows 11.
I switched to Windows and noticed lower power usage on my next eletricity bills. Later I bought a power usage meter device that you can see actual Watts usage. While on idle Linux actually uses less but gaming wise it can differ from 10-20 Watts more than on Windows. Can't seem to find the culprit except NVIDIA GPU I think.
Arch linux, Intel CPU 11th gen 8 cores. RTX 3070.
Tried both nvidia-dkms, and nvidia-open-dkms, same usage.
