Trying to play No Rest For The Living on the flatpak version of crispy doom, but the code always returns the error of "IWAD not found" on the konsole.

Anyone can tell me how to get it working?

P.S.: Wads come from DOOM + DOOMII (GoG). I'm trying to use Crispy Doom instead of the new version because I want to use the custom soundtrack, and the mods page doesn't work without the galaxy client.

deltarune is very slow on it and sonic mania has occasional slowdowns. why is it so slow on my pc is it because it probably doesn't support opengl3? ive tryed it on another newer laptop and it worked fine even though the slightly more modern one is much cheaper and im pretty sure is slightly weaker.

When I try to login with google, after authorising login attempt from my phone, it renders pure white screen without any buttons except for X in the top right corner.

Hello everyone,

I have been running into this particular problem: I usually can run Steam games completely fine with the latest Proton-GE version and the PROTON_USE_WIN3D=1 %command%. (I have to use the option because otherwise the games will either have a black/gray screen or get stuck on a "screenshot" of whatever is behind the window upon launch.

However, it happened now twice that this stopped working and it gave me the DirectX11 error message, that it couldn't initialize graphics. The first time was after I did apt-upgrade, the second time was after I installed PolyMC via Flatpak.

Both times I had to reinstall Linux because I didn't know how to fix the issue. Restarting Steam or the PC did not work.

I have Nvidia 4070 graphics card (with nvidia-driver installed). Debian 12 as OS and Steam flatpak (the .deb refused to work, installing it with terminal gives an error message that a dependency is "uninstallable").

Does anyone know what could be the problem here?

Hey folks,

I just finished installing CachyOS on a second drive, and was wondering if it's possible to dual boot Win11 and CachyOS and play Battlefield 6. It's a pretty ridiculous question now that I'm typing it out.

I have GRUB set up as my bootloader, and the bios boot sequence using the CachyOS drive. To get this working I had to set the operating system in 'Secure Boot' to 'Other OS' - otherwise when trying to boot it would spit out an 'unauthorized changes on the firmware, operating system or UEFI drivers' error, and just boot Win11.

However with secure boot set to 'Other OS' BF6 won't run in Win11 as it thinks secure boot is disabled - thanks javelin anti cheat, or I guess people who cheat in online games?

Everything else seems to work really well, and I'm hoping that to play battlefield won't require bios changes every time?!

Specs are 4090 with i9-14900KF. Every game that I attempt to use DLSS Frame Generation with works, but after a few minutes, or sometimes at random, it will stop generating frames and becomes very choppy/laggy. It actually becomes worse than just turning it off entirely.

I have been trying to find a fix for awhile, but I can't find anything online or anyone else experiencing the same issues. Does anyone know what I could try to do to fix this?

I'm very new to this yet other games like Voices of the Void (unreal engine 4) work just fine. I've installed proton GE and tried I think like 7 different versions already, but it the window doesn't even pop up. It says it's launched on steam and a second later it's gone, and the game is off. I am using cachyos, just installed plus the gaming meta package. Is there any crucial dependency I am missing? A driver?
