Is there any way to play Roblox on Linux .Iam new to linux Pls help me

I've seen one video on this from a couple years ago. I was wondering how well it worked and if it's even worth trying?

Has anyone one managed to recently install the DisplayLink drivers for a USB C dock?

The old wiki guide has been pulled and the steps don’t work anymore.

I set up Steam Remote Play on my phone a little bit ago and have been having a blast playing Hades on it. It's amazing to me that I can let my Linux machine do the heavy lifting and enjoy crisp 1080, 60fps gaming from my bed. It's like having the Switch 3 early. I've been testing it out with a variety of different games and so far so good. Very little latency, works with most everything in my library, and incredibly seamless.

The problems started when i tried using Dolphin emulator with Steam remote play. I added the app as a non-steam app and launched it through steam big-picture. However, i am not able to configure any controls in Dolphin. I can select "Steam remote input" as the input source but none of my button presses are relayed to Dolphin. Since noticing this, nothing i tried has worked to get Dolphin to receive an input. i manually deleted the desktop gamepad settings and re-set them to my default controller profile for games, and made sure steam was recognizing my controller.

After a little further testing, it seems like Steam just isn't sending inputs to any app i add as a non-steam app. I tried launching antimicrox (a controller to mouse/keyboard emulator) through steam and i find the same problem. The app recognizes steam input but no key presses are ever sent to the app.

I just don't know what's going on? i feel like it s a bug with steam but i dont know enough to go deeper. Any suggestions on making this work please. TIA

My Linux migration dreams got crushed after finding this now 9-month old post, but there's mention of "keeping an eye on it". Does anyone know if it's now possible to have G-sync enabled while using multiple displays/outputs with Wayland or any method in Linux?

P.D: Curiously, I tried to run the game in a 4GB RAM computer with Lubuntu. I't worked for the first times, then I got the same error. I did sudo wine gta_sa (yes, with sudo) and it misteriously worked lol

I couldn't find much out there so I thought I would just ask here.

Intel cards don't support older versions of direct X and have to use a translation layer to run them on windows which hurts performance. Since dxvk is translating all the directx stuff to vulcan which arc full supports these older titles should run better on linux when compared to windows.

is this line of thinking correct ?

I assume this is more pronounced on Linux, because I've pinged friends/family members running Steam on Windows and none of them report this level of frequency. But nearly every time I boot up Steam, half my library has new stuff to download, and it's almost always of the "Shader pre-caching information update" variety.

I googled around the term, I get what it does. That's fine. But I don't understand why it's doing it so frequently. I heard it might be related to having my Proton compatibility set to Experimental, so I bumped it down to the most recent stable version. No change.

Counter-Strike 2 downloads roughly 2 GB a day of this stuff. Other recent games in my library (Tekken 8, Cyberpunk) do similar. The thing I don't understand is why even older games periodically pull these things down. What the hell are Nidhogg 1 (a game that hasn't updated since 2021) and Vestaria Saga (a sprite-based game made in freaking SRPG Maker) doing downloading updates like these?

As a first time user of linux and using cachyos I would say my experience is mostly positive. Although I did run into a few issues. for one whenever I install packages I get this error

. Hasn't really impacted my experience but worth mentioning. Sometimes when I play my game I get these white flashes from time to time. Resetting the system fixes the issue but it is rather annoying. I also get occasional stuttering whenever I play my game but not enough to ruin the experience. Sometimes also it takes a hot minute to fully log into the system fro some odd reason? Should I transition over to Endeavouros? I like cachyos but it def has a few problems I don't like lol.

so im trying to use the nvk driver and to run oldschool runescapes client runelite it needs to use zink but every time i try to play the game it will crash with a error saying "mesa: device lost zink" im using sway on arch with the 6.8 kernel and zink does run runescape with the proprietary nvidia drivers.

thing is other way more demanding games run fine with zink+nvk on my pc

Hey all, I'm really sorry for this absolutely braindead question. I really tried to figure this out on my own, but for some reason, the way that gamescope commands are formatted just absolutely confuse my brain. I've been using Linux since 2015, and I've never had a problem understanding how to tailor example commands to my needs before, so this is really embarrassing for me, and I'm really sorry to waste peoples' time here, but could somebody please post the exact command to run a game that would be 1080p natively and have the FSR "Ultra Quality Mode" applied to it to upscale it back to 1080p?

I tried looking for exact command examples, but everything I've seen lists the input resolution at either 1440p or 4K. Any help would be extremely appreciated, and I'm sorry for posting this, as I really didn't want to waste peoples' time, but maybe somebody can find this post in the future if they have the same resolution needs as I do.

My input latency in games are not feeling accurate. I found out how to turn off the compositor in X11, but while it's almost near perfect to windows there is still some very slight input lag. I believe it's either gsync or freesync I don't know if those are turned on automatically or something, but usually those have some slight input lag.

I am running Linux Mint(Cinnamon DE) with Nvidia driver 550 and an RTX 4090. My 4090 has 3 fans but the x Server only allows me to control 2 of the 3?

How do I make it detect all 3?

I just bought Mega Man 11 on Steam, yet for some reason, most of the robots (including Mega Man), have missing textures. I've tried Proton Experimental, 9, and 8, yet this issue still remains. Does anyone know any fixes or have any recommendations?

i have installed ironsight on my pc (Intel core i5 3470 , Amd hd radeon 6670 , 1tb SSD , linux mint 21.04) and when i launch it and get into to the menu i get 2 or 3 fps idk why? , my system suports the game it has directx 11 and not vulkan

I'm going to build a PC but I'm going to use it only for emulation (including PS3) and playing older boxed games with no online steam activation, etc. (I really hate digital distribution, the exceptions are gog and icho) and the hardware will have Windows 8 and Linux (I don't know which one. choose at the beginning) what components do you recommend for emulation (including PS3), playing old games (95% from before 2015) and indie games and, above all, which Linux to choose next to Windows 8, thanks in advance
