EverLive: console capture suite released in version 1.3.2

EverLive has been released in version v1.3.2 - two days after v1.3.1.

EverLive is an open-source userspace driver for the AVerMedia Live Gamer 4K (GC573) capture card, letting you play and stream PlayStation 5, Xbox or Switch on the Linux desktop.

This is a pure bugfix release: Headless/OBS mode can now be launched directly, and the virtual PipeWire audio tap is isolated, so audio is no longer played twice through speakers or headphones.

Changes in version v1.3.2:

Fixed

  • Direct Headless / Studio Mode Launch:
    • Resolved an unassigned volume variable in Console Hub GUI (start_studio()) that threw an UnboundLocalError and prevented launching directly into Headless/OBS mode without starting the Gaming Screen first.
  • PipeWire Virtual Audio Tap Isolation:
    • Added PW_STREAM_FLAG_DONT_RECONNECT and "node.dont-reconnect" = "true" to the in-process audio tap stream, preventing WirePlumber from falling back to default playback devices (speakers/headphones).
    • Hardened runtime sink provisioning via pactl load-module module-null-sink fallback so the virtual capture sink remains persistent across client lifecycles, eliminating duplicate audio playback when Virtual Audio Track is enabled in Gaming Screen mode.
