vkSumi, a Vulkan layer for color grading in games, has been released in version v0.1.0.
The open source tool (MIT license) adjusts brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, gamma, temperature and tint at runtime without modifying game files. It works with native Linux games as well as Steam titles running under Proton/Wine, and positions itself as an alternative to the unmaintained vkBasalt.
Features include per-game config files with live reload, RGB gain, 3-band lift/gain, vignette, colorblind simulation (daltonize) and an effect toggle via hotkey. vkSumi can be installed via AUR, Flatpak or built manually with Meson.
