NonSteamScraper: version 1.5.1 released

NonSteamScraper has been released in version v1.5.1.

The tool does one-click artwork fetching (covers, hero images, logos) for your entire non-Steam game and app library from SteamGridDB.

New: official Steam artwork now comes first and is applied automatically when SteamGridDB links a game to Steam. There is also a new Ignore button, and “Reset Skip” is now called Restore.

  • When SteamGridDB links a game to Steam, its store artwork (cover, wide cover, hero, logo, icon) is option #1 in every slot, tagged STEAM and auto-applied, even where SGDB has no community art. Only Logo/Icon “Official = Exclude” leaves it out.
  • New Ignore button moves a game to Hidden; Reset Skip is renamed Restore and brings back a hidden game whether skipped or ignored.
  • download_artwork: skip the byte-count check on Content-Encoded responses (Steam’s icon CDN gzips .ico; the check compared decoded bytes to the compressed Content-Length). urllib3 still enforces the raw length.
  • 13 new tests.
