Pulsar Mouse Linux: version 0.1.30 released

Pulsar Mouse Linux, an unofficial configuration tool for Pulsar gaming mice on Linux, has been released in version v0.1.30.

The update adds an adjustable sleep timer for 21 wireless mice with the Nordic chip. Most recently there were versions 0.1.26 to 0.1.29, which already restricted register 0xAD for the sleep timer to the X2 CrazyLight.

Changes in version 0.1.30:

  • Sleep timer: The Xlite and Xlite V3 families, X2, X2A, X2H, X2 V2 and variants get a sleep timeout setting from 10 seconds to 10 minutes. The steps are unevenly spaced, values in between are untested. The timer is stored per profile. Previously it only existed in the X2 CrazyLight driver.
  • Register 0xAD: Setting the timeout no longer writes 0xAD, as it is probably not the timer. Its function is still unknown.
  • Status checks: A refused identity read is no longer cached as model 0 but requested again. A refused profile switch is now detected.
  • DPI stages: max_dpi_stages=4 was inherited from another project and is now confirmed by Fusion’s config, where all 21 models show four DPI stages.
  • Known gap: num_profiles still reports 1 for mice with more profiles, pending measurement.

Measurements were contributed by @bluesceada and @f-o-o-g-s.
