DeckCrate, a fully controller-operable file manager for handhelds, has been released in version 0.1.7 on Steam.
The update brings a newer PDF engine (pdfrx 2) for the preview and is built with Flutter 3.47. System fonts for PDFs without embedded fonts are now indexed when the first PDF is opened instead of at every launch.
Release v0.1.7
Changed
- macOS 12 Monterey is now the minimum macOS version (previously macOS 11 Big Sur). The updated PDF engine’s bundled PDFium framework no longer supports older releases.
- The PDF preview runs on a newer engine (pdfrx 2). System fonts for PDFs that don’t embed their own are now indexed when the first PDF is opened rather than at every launch, so the first PDF preview shows a brief spinner.
- DeckCrate is now built with Flutter 3.47, and its dependencies are updated to their latest compatible releases (including the controller library and the HTML/Markdown preview renderer).
