DLSS Updater: version 5.0.3 released

DLSS Updater has been released in version 5.0.3.

The tool scans the games installed on a system and replaces outdated DLSS, XeSS, and FSR DLLs with newer versions - including automatic backups for rollback.

After the framework update in version 5.0.2, this is a bugfix release: timezone handling has been fixed (measurements could previously be off by several hours depending on location), and refreshing in the Games tab now counts as a scan. The remaining changes mostly affect the Windows version.

  1. Bug fix for timezone handling, previously they were using regional, local ones which meant measurements could be off depending on your locality (by hours in some cases).
  2. Refresh under the Games tab now counts as a scan, so the games scanned counter is updated in conjunction (thanks to the individual who flagged this on the feedback form).
  3. Changes to how the self update works on Windows, it will now no longer self-reboot, based on https://github.com/Recol/DLSS-Updater/issues/306 to avoid Windows Defender flagging it due to previously invoking Powershell.
  4. The executable on Windows now contains proper publisher details.
  5. Minor stability fixes.
