Battle for Wesnoth is a turn-based, open-source fantasy strategy game where players command armies across campaigns and multiplayer maps.

1.18.8 mainly fixes the CMake build (making Boost::system optional) and resolves missing translations in Windows builds. 1.19.27 reworks several multiplayer maps, lowers the difficulty of the first mission in “The South Guard”, and fixes audio issues left over from the SDL3 migration.

Changes in version 1.18.8:

Translations

  • Updated translations: Bengali, Chinese (Simplified), Czech, German, Hebrew, Hungarian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish
