GE-Proton, the unofficial Proton build by GloriousEggroll, has been released in version GE-Proton 11-6.
The release centers on Wine-Wayland support: a 58-patch series adds native child-window rendering via DMA-BUF, and winewayland.drv and winex11.drv can now run side by side, selected per process through WINE_GRAPHICS_DRIVER. Also new are Steam overlay support under Wine-Wayland, an OpenGL overlay for Wine-X11 and Wine-Wayland, and reworked audio and haptic output for PS5 controllers (including Death Stranding Director’s Cut and Death Stranding 2). DXVK is also bumped to version 3.1.
