EasyEffects, ein Werkzeug zur Audio-Manipulation für Linux, wurde in Version 8.3.1 veröffentlicht.

EasyEffects bietet unter anderem einen Equalizer, Limiter, Kompressor, Hall-Effekt und Spektrum-Analyzer und arbeitet direkt mit PipeWire zusammen - sowohl für Ausgabegeräte als auch für Eingabegeräte wie Mikrofone.

Neu sind unter anderem ein Harmonizer-Effekt und Unterstützung für das DPDFNet-Modell im Deep Noise Remover.

New features:

• Support for the DPDFNet model in the Deep Noise Remover effect (requires the HushMic package)
• A sample peak meter alongside the true peak meter in the Level Meter effect
• A new Harmonizer effect (requires the rakarrack-plus package)
• Improved spectrum performance
• Separate inactivity timeout settings for the input and output pipelines
• The blocklist now also excludes applications whose stream name starts with a listed word

Bug fixes:

• Preset autoload at startup works for devices using the “Pro Audio” profile
• The pipeline is now rebuilt correctly in some cases where global bypass was enabled
