Kasual Desktop, ein konsolenartiges, per Controller bedienbares Desktop-Overlay für Linux und Windows, wurde in der Version v1.1.0 veröffentlicht.

Neben KDE Plasma wird nun auch GNOME Shell über eine native Extension unterstützt, ebenso Adapter für Sway und Hyprland. Der Host-Desktop lässt sich für ein Kiosk-artiges Erlebnis ausblenden, der Mauszeiger wird automatisch versteckt und der Bildschirmschoner während des Overlays unterdrückt.
