Kasual Desktop, a console-like, gamepad-controlled desktop overlay for Linux and Windows, has been released in version v1.1.0.
Alongside KDE Plasma, it now also supports GNOME Shell via a native extension, plus adapters for Sway and Hyprland. The host desktop can be hidden for a kiosk-like experience, the mouse cursor is hidden automatically, and the screensaver is inhibited while the overlay is active.
