Battlenet is being stubborn today, throwing various errors without opening. I’m just wondering if it’s my system playing up, or if they’ve updated something it’s not just me.

Sorry if this is a newby or stupid question but I'm new to Linux. I'm using Linux Mint 22.1 Cinnamon 6.4.8. I followed the build instructions on the github and was able to get all the files on my system, but I'm not sure what to do next or, if I am done, I am not sure how to open it. Could anyone help?

Honestly, it runs fine — nothing major to report. Locked 60FPS feels smooth and consistent on this hardware. Really nice to see these games working well on Linux and integrated graphics.

The Last of Us Part 2 for example always breaks VRR on initial launch. I have to flip to windowed mode first then back to exclusive fullscreen again to make VRR work. This is annoying everytime I want to play the game.

Hey y'all. I'm pretty new to Linux. I have an old Surface Pro 4 that I want to turn into an emulation machine. It's the Base Intel Core m3-6Y30 4 GB 128 GB Intel HD 515.

I currently have Kubuntu installed with the Surface kernel, but I'm wondering if there would be a better and more minimal distro to install if it's going to purely be an emulation machine.

I have looked into Lakka but I would like to like to have have the Dolphin emulator to install Wii games and I really enjoy using EmulationStation. Also, from my understanding the gaming mode of Bazzite won't work with my old hardware.

Anyone have any recommendations?

I'm still pretty new on Linux in general and espically on Bazzite. I have a logitech G13 that I use all the time on Windows and would like to use it on Bazzite. I found this https://github.com/Tetz95/linux-g13-driver But I don't know how to install it since Bazzite works differently from Ubuntu which I'm a little more familar with.

I'm actually starting the question if Bazzite is for me. I've found it very frustrating to install things because it is immutable or whatever. Lots of software that works perfect on Mint either just won't install or is an inferior experience. Might just be me being unfamiliar though.

Alright, so let's get to the point, I need help. I successfully connected my VR headset to my PC via the ALVR for Linux, but, whenever I turn it on to connect my headset I get error 102

So I recently switched from Windows 10 to Bazzite and decided that I wanted to play Wuthering Waves.

However I quickly ran into a few problems. First, I tried to launch wuwa through steam, but it ends itself immediately upon launch (I've tried compatibility with 'Proton 9.0-4', 'Proton Experimental' and 'Proton Hotfix'). So, I thought: "Okay, then I'll try Epic Games". Upon lauch I was hit with a white/empty application with two buttons on the bottom right, each saying "□ □". Hitting either just closes the scene before reloading itself again.

But Lutris looked like it had many different ways to download it so I tried them. First I attempted "Search the Lutris website for installers" which game me three options: "wine 1.1", "wine 1.5.1.0" and "Wavey Launcher 1.0.1". I tried the Wavey Launcher first which seemed to start perfectly fine but upon being prompted to "Download wine" within the launcher, I received an error stating that there's no available space.

So I tried wine 1.1 which actually let me access the installer. Upon installing wuwa, I was greeted with the classic wuwa launcher but it asked to be updated. Refusing just closes the launcher so I had no choice.
Relaunching wuwa then brings me back to the installation interface. Refusing to install makes it so Lutris can't launch it, so I have to overwrite my installation. This, unfortunately sends me back to the white/empty application with 2 buttons. A dead end.

Finally, I tried wine 1.5.1.0 which, once again, seemed promising. It brought me to the installer but Lutris stated to finish the installation but to NOT enter the game. So I finished the installation and hit X. But upon doing so, Lutris, again, refuses to launch it.
So then I tried to start the game after installing it (ignoring Lutris' request). Which, once AGAIN, brought me to the white/empty application with 2 buttons.

I'm lost and don't know what to do. If there is any tech-wizzard among you that knows the solution to my problem, please help.

Got assetto corsa and content manager working but not shutoko revival project map for no hesi back story i installed all the mods for singerplayer no hesi traffic but crashed so i removed all install srp map and found that caused the crash i installed highforce map and worked erorr with srp map erorr was something when extracting map and missing surfaces.ini any would would be great tyy.

Hi,

Basically, as in the title. I have been trying to prepare for LAN party with homies, so i quickly bought HoMM3 on GOG and installed it using lutrix (the option with HD+). Unfortunately, the TCP/IP options seems not to work.

If any of you know what could be wrong, or help me to log more info for further debugging, I will be thankful if you write your suggestion down in comments.

So as the title said, I almost thought I broke my gpu trying to run half life Alyx, the native build crashes and it crashed the whole os, the weird thing after I restarted my pc it only loaded 500 megabytes vram out of the 16 gigabytes vram (I think the gpu is devided into two sections and I think the 16 gigabyte section froze correct me if I'm wrong) and no matter how many times I tried to restart or shut down my pc my gpu doesn't load in correctly, I tried to unplug my valve index and it actually worked, how is it possible that the vr headset froze my gpu even tho I restarted my pc? Any thoughts? And is this even save or I'm lucky that it didn't break my gpu😅😅? I'm scared to try to run vr again now lmao
