ProtonHub, an open-source tool for managing “compatibility tools”, has been released in version v0.2.0.
Just one day after version 0.1.0, the update brings many new features. New is a launch options editor for Steam, Heroic and non-Steam games with 35 presets and a gamescope editor. A MangoHud editor with live preview is available globally or per game.
There is also a details page for each game, a Storage tab for cleaning up Wine prefixes and shader caches, and prefix tools such as winetricks, winecfg and regedit. Steam can be quit and started from within the app, and Valve’s Steam Deck rating is shown. Faugus Launcher is now supported, and additional Wine sources from Kron4ek as well as DXVK-Sarek are available. Installs and updates can be cancelled, tool manifests are fetched from the repository, and a GitHub token can be saved in the preferences.
