Pixel Hold’em: Poker Coach is now available for Linux on Steam.
The game is a pixel-art No-Limit Hold’em poker game where a coach shows your equity and pot odds and advises whether to call, fold or raise. It costs €5.19, with a 15% launch discount (€4.41).

Most poker games just deal the cards. This one teaches you to play them.
The screen shows your equity in the hand and the pot odds you need to call. If the first is bigger than the second, calling makes money. That’s the whole idea, and plenty of people play for years without doing that math once. When the game ends you get a short report telling you whether you’re seeing too many flops, or not betting the hands you should.
The coach runs the numbers for you
Every time the action reaches you, the coach works out your equity and tells you whether to call, fold or raise. Hand rankings and an odds table are one tap away, which means nobody has to memorize that a flush draw gets there about 35% of the time. If you’d rather work it out yourself, switch the coach off.
Six AI personalities, four difficulty levels
The Rock only plays big hands. The Maniac raises with anything. They bet different amounts, bluff at different frequencies, and don’t all take the same time to act, so after a few dozen hands you start recognizing them.
Turn the difficulty up and the AI begins using your own habits against you: fold too often and it steals your blinds, call too much and it only bets when it already has you. The top setting is called Legend. Good luck.
Send a room code, fill a table of eight
Tap Multiplayer, create a room and get a 4-digit code. Send it to your friends and you’re playing together; empty seats get filled by AI. Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and iPhone all sit at the same table, so it doesn’t matter what anyone happens to own. Hold a button to say something, or throw an emote. Lose your connection and you’ll drop straight back into the same hand. Hosts can turn on rising blinds if you want the tournament feel.
The deck exists only on the server. Nobody can see anyone else’s hole cards, including whoever made the room.
Nine worlds, nine moods
Dogs scrapping on a park lawn, cats facing off on a moonlit roof, cowboys in the dusty back room of a saloon. Ducks by the pond, aliens in a mothership lounge, robots hanging around the hangar after hours, a neon-lit den on a rainy night, a velvet room where the stakes are high, and a plain Friday night with old friends.
Every world comes as a full set: suit designs, chip shapes, card backs and soundtrack. Switch whenever the mood strikes.
No ads, no in-app purchases
