PipeASIO, an ASIO bridge for PipeWire on Linux (primarily for Wine), has been released in version v1.9.1 - just one day after version 1.9.0.

This release focuses on corrected error messaging for driver loading issues on Linux. The documentation previously pointed 32-bit users to Wine 11 or Proton 11, even though Wine 10.0 and Proton 10 actually work, while Proton 11 fails the same way without new WoW64.

The updated error guidance now specifies three requirements: PROTON_USE_WOW64=1, Faugus’s WoW64 option, or a new-WoW64 Wine build, plus WINEDLLPATH. Additionally, the 64-bit frontend previously displayed the same WoW64 hint (which doesn’t apply to 64-bit systems) and now correctly directs users to WINEDLLPATH and Wine logs instead.
