MO2-LINT, a command-line tool for installing and managing Mod Organizer 2 on Linux, has been released in version 7.0.0. The tool automates setting up Proton, downloading Mod Organizer 2, registering it as a compatibility tool and configuring the NXM handler for Nexus Mods, with support for over 20 games from Skyrim to Cyberpunk 2077.
Version 7.0.0 is the first stable release after ten months of development - the entire installer was rewritten from Bash to Python for this. It is now distributed as a single-file executable, bundles most dependencies itself and supports Proton 11.
