Amethyst Mod Manager has been released in version 2.4.0.
Amethyst Mod Manager is a Linux-native mod manager in the style of Mod Organizer 2, supporting over 80 games - including Baldur’s Gate 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Skyrim, the Fallout series and Starfield.
The highlight of the new version is a fully reworked conflict detection: adding, moving, enabling and disabling mods in large modlists now feels much more responsive, as does application startup. Fallout New California (GOG) is newly supported, alongside a Skyrim downgrade wizard, OpenMW AppImage support and playback of audio and video files straight from the mod files.
Performance Improvements:
- Fully reworked how conflicts are detected. Adding new mods, moving mods, enabling and disabling mods in a large modlist will feel much more responsive.
- Improved application load and startup times

- Added a Wizard tool for Acmos Road generator (Skyrim SE in the Dyndolod category)

- Audio and video files can now be played from the mod files tab and Data tab

- Fixed game launch options not applying correctly
- Fixed an issue where applications run via the wizard could be left running in the background forever
- Fixed separator strike lines not being visible with some themes
