Proton-AppImage: GE-Proton 11-6 released as portable AppImage

Proton-AppImage has been released in version GE-Proton 11-6.

Proton-AppImage is an unofficial packaging of GE-Proton as a single, portable AppImage file that lets you run Windows programs on Linux - no Steam or complex setup required.

Automated standalone build of GE-Proton11-6, runs in WoW64 mode.

The AppImage can be moved freely between systems, registers itself as a handler for .exe and .msi files via --install, and launches Wine’s file explorer by default when run without arguments. Passing a Windows executable as an argument runs it directly.

The build is based on GE-Proton 11-6 by GloriousEggroll. That release focuses on Wine-Wayland support with native child-window rendering via DMA-BUF, and also adds Steam overlay support under Wine-Wayland, reworked audio and haptics for PS5 controllers, and an update to DXVK 3.1.
