Proton-AppImage has been released in version GE-Proton 11-5.

Proton-AppImage is an unofficial packaging of GE-Proton as a single, portable AppImage file that lets you run Windows programs on Linux - no Steam or complex setup required.

Automated standalone build of GE-Proton11-5, runs in WoW64 mode.

The AppImage can be moved freely between systems, registers itself as a handler for .exe and .msi files via --install, and launches Wine’s file explorer by default when run without arguments. Passing a Windows executable as an argument runs it directly.

The build is based on the GE-Proton 11-5 hotfix by GloriousEggroll, which fixes broken Easy Anti-Cheat loading that had appeared in version 11-4.
