Morrowind: OpenMW and Tamriel Rebuilt available as one-click mods on GOG

OpenMW and Tamriel Rebuilt are now available as one-click mods for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind on GOG.

OpenMW is an open-source engine reimplementation of Morrowind that keeps the original world and content but runs on modern tech under the hood - which also means better Linux support, since it runs natively instead of relying on a Windows compatibility layer. Tamriel Rebuilt is a long-running fan project that adds the mainland of Morrowind beyond the island of Vvardenfell, complete with new locations, quests, characters and stories.

Two beloved community projects, OpenMW and Tamriel Rebuilt, are now available as GOG One-click Mods for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, making it easier than ever to enhance your journey through one of gaming’s most iconic worlds.

Tamriel Rebuilt in the meantime, expands the game far beyond the familiar island of Vvardenfell, adding a huge portion of the mainland of Morrowind to explore, complete with new locations, quests, characters, and stories.
