The free open-source flight simulator FlightGear has been updated to version 2024.1.7, a release focused on bug fixes.

Bug Fixes

• Multiplayer Positions - Fixed an out-of-bounds issue in the decoding of multiplayer positions.
• Aircraft Carriers - Resolved a problem preventing carriers from appearing after enabling scenarios.
• Property Channels - Fixed a crash when closing many property channels.
• Radio Frequencies - Corrected a crash occurring when adjusting radio frequencies during FGCom use.
• Voice Manager - Fixed a crash in the voice manager on shutdown.
• Canvas Images - Eliminated excessive logging caused by image mipmapping that degraded simulator performance.
• TerraSync - Resolved a race condition issue.
• Weather Options - Fixed a failure to properly reset advanced weather settings when opening or closing the weather dialog.

Miscellaneous

• Updated the Cessna 172P aircraft with various improvements, including temperature-dependent battery capacity modeling.
