LinuxGSM: Game-Server-Manager in Version v26.4.0 veröffentlicht

Action Required: Team Fortress 2 now defaults to the 64-bit server with -norestart added to start parameters. Users with custom startparameters must add -norestart manually. SourceMod servers remain on 32-bit until opted in.

Notable Removals: SCP: Secret Laboratory ServerMod (scpslsm) has been removed as “Steam has retired app 786920.”

Major Features

  • Steam Workshop Downloads: Thirteen games now support automatic mod downloading and updates
  • Player Warnings: In-game notifications before server stops, restarts, or updates
  • Postponed Operations: Updates and backups delay when players are online; monitoring resumes when servers empty
  • HTTPS Security: SteamCMD, MTA, and all linuxgsm.download files now use encrypted transfers
  • Docker Updates: 134 game server images migrated to Ubuntu 26.04

Behavioral Changes

  • stoponlyifnoplayers now applies to updates, backups, and workshop operations
  • Failed downloads report as failures and restart servers
  • updateonstart now proceeds with server startup after updates
  • SteamCMD progress displays in real-time with automatic failure detection
  • Monitor no longer restarts servers during backups or updates

  • Running With Rifles
  • Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy (OpenJK)
  • Conan Exiles
