8B wurde in der Version v0.4.0 veröffentlicht.

Das in Rust geschriebene Tool erstellt und bearbeitet Controller-Profile für 8BitDo-Geräte unter Linux. Zuletzt hatten wir über Version 0.3.1 berichtet.

Neu ist die Unterstützung für 8BitDo Ultimate Bluetooth Controller (Tasten, Sticks, Trigger, Vibration und Makros) im XInput- und Switch-Modus. Profile lassen sich außerdem als JSON importieren und exportieren. Die Modelle Ultimate 2.4G und Ultimate Wired werden erkannt, aber erst nach Validierung auf echter Hardware freigeschaltet.

Adds support for 8BitDo Ultimate Bluetooth controllers: buttons, sticks, triggers, vibration and macros. Profile import/export in JSON format. Works with both XInput and Switch modes.

The Ultimate 2.4G and Ultimate Wired models are recognized but will not be enabled until validated on real hardware. The project documentation lists six validation checks required for controller support.

Install from the signed Flatpak remote for automatic updates rather than using the standalone .flatpak bundles.
