Der Arctis Sound Manager wurde in Version 1.2.26 veröffentlicht.

Das Tool verwaltet unter Linux die Audio-Einstellungen von SteelSeries-Arctis-Headsets, etwa Mikrofon-Rauschunterdrückung, externes Output-Routing und weitere Audio-Funktionen.

Neu ist die Unterstützung für DeepFilterNet als zusätzliche Rauschunterdrückungs-Engine neben RNoise. Zudem wurden mehrere SteamOS-Kompatibilitätsprobleme behoben, die nach System-Updates mit zurückgesetztem Root-Dateisystem auftraten.

• DeepFilterNet noise-cancellation engine: Users can now select between RNoise and DeepFilterNet for microphone noise suppression. The application automatically downloads the LADSPA plugin if needed to ~/.ladspa and supports glibc-based systems (x86_64, aarch64, armv7) including immutable Linux distributions.

• SteamOS compatibility: Resolved three critical issues occurring after system updates that wipe the root filesystem:
  • GUI no longer crashes when pulsectl dependency is missing
  • Dependency installer now uses pip install --user for Python modules, surviving OS updates
  • Made noise-suppression-for-voice plugin optional rather than a hard requirement; DeepFilterNet serves as an alternative
