VR StrideS: jogging locomotion tool for SteamVR released

VR StrideS has been released for Linux on Steam.

The tool turns jogging in place into left-stick movement for SteamVR games - no treadmill and no extra trackers. It costs €9.22 at launch (10% launch discount, regularly €10.25), and a demo is available as well.

VR StrideS transforms your real-world movement into natural locomotion for SteamVR games. Simply jog in place to walk, run, and explore your favorite VR worlds: no expensive treadmill, no additional trackers, and no complicated setup.

Whether you’re exploring ancient ruins, battling monsters, surviving the apocalypse, or hanging out with friends in VR, every step you take becomes movement in-game.

VR StrideS works alongside compatible SteamVR games by translating your jogging motion into smooth left-stick locomotion. Keep both hands free to wield weapons, cast spells, reload, climb, or interact with the world while moving naturally.

Everyone moves differently, and we understand that. In VR StrideS, you can adjust sensitivity, effort, and movement response to match your preferred pace: from relaxed walking to high-intensity cardio sessions.
